Phone Sex Operator Interview

idol

Just read yet another blog magazine in the media with an interview of a phone sex girl. I hate these things for numerous reasons but the main one is that I feel like most journalists tend to make phone sex into a joke.

The article says something to the effect of “phone sex operators still exist”. No shit. Phone Sex is not a dead industry by any means.  It’s a billion dollar industry actually and seems to be considered the bottom of the barrel when it comes to sex workers. Now, keep in mind that the billion dollars are spread very thinly throughout the entire industry. The smaller the company or service then the smaller their chunk of that income is.  There is money to be made in this industry. How do I know that? Because I am still in business, and I am still financially as strong as I was last year, and the year before, and so on.

The interviewer goes on to ask the PSO about calls and callers. Some of the questions that operators are often get asked are: “What is the grossest call you have ever had” or “what is the weirdest call you’ve ever had”. And naturally, the PSO in the article has an answer. She evens details out very general info about one client’s fantasy and says he calls lots of girls and that they have communicated about his calls. This fantasy is very specific and quite unique. Of course, his name is never mentioned, but what if that guy actually read the article? How awful would he feel about himself?

So my feelings about these types of PSOs is that they are revealing far too much information about the industry and moreover, about actual people. Maybe I am just a big hippie at heart but that feels very wrong to me. I find it degrading to the caller and to the phone sex girl. But that’s not all. I find it to be a major invasion of privacy.

Phone Sex as a service is meant to be discreet and private, but not just in billing. To me, it also means that I am not going to blab in a public forum about your fantasy where the world can laugh as I turn you into a joke. In the medical profession, there are laws, policies, and distinct rules about discussing patient information. In my opinion, a phone sex service SHOULD offer and maintain the client’s complete privacy.  Or maybe it’s not my opinion. Perhaps it is common sense.

Phone Flirts has a public Privacy Policy posted on this site. The first line of it says: Our Privacy Policy was developed as an extension of our commitment to combine the highest-quality service with the highest level of integrity in dealing with our clients and partners. I stand by that. I follow my own policy.  As a caller of phone sex, you take this post as my promise to you personally that I will never write about you with a negative tone, and while I have done some interviews in the past; they will always state positive and have healthy attitudes about any client I mention. You should not have to worry that your intimate and personal fantasy will be discussed with anyone else.

If you do worry about… then I call that the “boner destroyer”.
