The movie is dated roughly 1982 or so. The plot is that a nuclear apocalypse has hit the world and people become categorized into two different groups: The Sex Negatives and The Sex Positives.

The Sex Positives are actually the minority and they are forced to perform on stage live sex acts for all the Sex Negatives to watch them in complete frustration. The lead characters are a married couple that are Sex Negative… or so we think. But one of them is lying and debating whether nor not to admit to the truth.

The main themes involved in the story are frustration, betrayal, control, and inadequacy. All of the sex scenes are fairly brief and to the point while done with real looking people rather than perfect looking actors. It even contains some musical and dream like sequences.

This is a XXX feature but someone told me that you can also get an R Rated version that played to mainstream audiences back in the day. I’m not certain that is accurate info though. Of course I would recommend the XXX version… though it’s still not quite as hardcore as most other porn videos are. What made this film so cool to me was that it had a storyline beyond the pornography, and yet it’s a story that couldn’t be told in any other way. It made you THINK.

Sure it’s like any other tacky old 80’s movie, supposedly futuristic in a hilarious kind of way… but it’s also extremely artistic and creative. I don’t see it as the type of porn that’s going to turn you on to the point of masturbation because you’ll actually end up interested in the plot. How often can you say that about a dirty movie? You’ll want to watch it the whole way through in one sitting…. to absorb it.
